In order to create a quiet zone where train horns would not routinely be blown at the railroad crossings the following proposed improvements are being considered:

Phase I consists of making necessary crossing safety improvements to the crossings beginning at the Andre Avenue crossing (southern project limit) and progressing north up to and including the Railroad Avenue crossing. 

Phase II construction makes the necessary crossing safety improvements to beginning at
the Kay Fries Drive crossing and going north to the Maintenance Road North crossing.
